Equestrian campground at Deam Lake State Recreation Area featuring 99 electric campsites designed specifically for horse camping. Sites include 63 electric campsites with hitching posts and 36 electric campsites with horse stalls. All sites offer electric hookup, picnic table, fire ring, and parking spur. Modern restrooms with hot showers and a dump station serve the campground. Seven horse barns containing 90 total stalls are available for overnight horse housing. Two short lead-outs connect the campground to 80 miles of multipurpose trails in adjacent Clark State Forest. Campers must have at least one horse present to use equestrian sites. Reservations available up to six months in advance.
