A group campground managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on the northern shore of Lake Shelbyville in Central Illinois. Located 4.7 miles south of Sullivan on Route 32 at 865 IL-32, the facility is designed specifically for group use including family reunions, youth group outings, and organized meetings. Features include bunkhouse-style buildings with multiple bedrooms and bunk beds providing comfortable lodging for larger groups. The site offers excellent views overlooking Lake Shelbyville and a 100-acre wetland. Amenities include air conditioning, restrooms with showers, fire pits, grills, picnic tables, volleyball nets, basketball goals, and horseshoe pits. The Okaw Bluff Trail winds along a bluff above the lake, with the Camp Camfield trail located at the entrance. Reservations required, contact 217-774-3951 ext. 3 or 217-774-3122 ext. 3.
