The easiest way to get to the Bechler area is by driving twenty-six miles east of Ashton, Idaho. The Bechler Ranger Station is approximately 26 miles east of Ashton.
Ashton is the closest town to the Bechler entrance of Yellowstone.
From where the pavement ends the road is noted as Cave Falls Road and it is a 10 mile drive to the Bechler Ranger Station on this dirt road. Take Highway 20 to Ashton, Idaho.
