A Walton County recreation area located approximately 16 miles south of Ponce de Leon off Highway 81. The entrance is about 2.3 miles east of Highway 81 on Dead River Road, with the final approach on a gravel/dirt road. The park offers 16 campsites available by reservation only, with sites 1-8 accommodating RVs, travel trailers, and tents, while sites 9-16 are tent-only. Campsites do not have power, water, or waste disposal hookups. Day-use amenities include a picnic area, concrete boat ramp with trailer parking, portable toilets, and a small playground for children. Free camping is available with required reservations.
