A hunt camp within the Richloam Wildlife Management Area, part of the 58,000-acre Withlacoochee State Forest spanning Hernando, Pasco, Sumter, and Lake counties. The camp provides primitive facilities for hunters and campers with vault toilets but no potable water. Permits are required for hunt camp use and primitive camping. The surrounding WMA offers hunting, fishing, wildlife viewing, horseback riding, hiking, and bicycling with eight miles of shared trails and three loop hiking trails ranging from 9.4 to 13.6 miles. Reservations and permits can be obtained through the Withlacoochee Visitor Center at 352-797-4140.
