A refurbished barn shelter located at the northern end of Sinkyone Wilderness State Park, serving as accommodation for Lost Coast Trail thru-hikers and other visitors. The barn costs $30 per night, while nearby environmental campsites at Jones Beach, Low Gap, Stream Side and other primitive sites are $5 per person per night, all located within 1.5 miles walking distance from Needle Rock Ranch Parking Area. Access requires traveling 36 miles southwest of Garberville/Redway on Briceland Road, with the final 3.5 miles being unpaved, steep, and narrow. Roads may be impassable during wet weather; RVs and trailers are not recommended. No potable water is available and visitors must haul out their own trash. All sites are first-come, first-served. Day-use fee is $8 per vehicle.
