Furnace Creek Campground is the only reservable NPS campground in Death Valley National Park, offering 136 sites with drinking water, picnic tables, flush toilets, and a dump station. The campground is open year-round and operates under two seasonal schedules: reservations are required through Recreation.gov January 1-April 15 and October 15-December 31, 2026, while during the hottest months the campground reduces to 41 first-come, first-served sites. Site types include full hookup pull-through sites (67-77), full hookup back-in sites (39-52), tent-only drive-in sites (100-110), and tent-only walk-in sites (115-150). Each site has either a campfire ring or grill. Standard tent/RV sites cost $30 per night, while full hookup sites are $44 per night. A campground kiosk is staffed 7 days per week during the reservation season.
