The site features 2 campsites at an elevation of approximately 4,400 feet (1,340 meters), with one picnic table, vault toilet, and a boat launch. Access requires a 4WD vehicle due to poor road conditions including water bars through cutblocks, large puddles, and ingrown forest for the last 800 meters. The site is reached via Learmouth Road off Lavington, following Aberdeen Forest Service Road to mile marker 20, then 2.7 km on odometer to the lake. Best suited for day fishing in a pickup truck, as campers and trailers have significant difficulty accessing the site. The recreation area is user-maintained with no services or potable water available.
