A small first-come, first-served campground at Carp Lake Provincial Park with twelve sites located near the east end of War Lake. The campground is connected to Carp Lake by an eight-kilometer waterway forming the beginning of the McLeod River. Sites are primitive with no electrical hookups and are not suited for long RVs. Facilities include water collection points, pit toilets, firewood, and a gravel car-top boat launch. A short walk from the campground leads to War Falls, a spectacular cascade featuring two distinct waterfalls separated by about 100 meters of rushing water. The park is located two hours northwest of Prince George, 32 kilometers from McLeod Lake off Highway 97.
