A primitive campground with 6 campsites along the Buffalo River, located 7 miles off Highway 27 north of Morning Star. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring, and lantern hook. A vault toilet is available with limited servicing. This is a pack-in/pack-out facility with no trash service or potable water on-site. The campground operates year-round on a first-come, first-served basis with no fees charged. RVs are permitted, though there are no hookups or developed amenities. Drive-in camping on the gravel bar is prohibited. The facility is situated on a wide sandy bend of the Buffalo River, providing easy access for swimming and fishing. No boat launch is available at this location.
