A horse campground located 3 miles east of Ponca off Highway 74, part of the Steel Creek Campground complex. The facility features 14 sites designated exclusively for campers with stock animals. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring, and lantern hook. Flush restrooms and water spigots are distributed throughout the campground. Some sites are available for reservation through Recreation.gov up to 6 months in advance, while others operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment at first-come sites must be made at the self-pay station using cash or check. Free camping is available during the winter off-season.
