A 1,100-acre outdoor recreation facility and wildlife refuge operated by Mobile County. The park reopened in February 2025 after three years of GOMESA-funded renovations that modernized infrastructure with new water and sewer systems, a lift station, and fire protection features. The campground area features 25 RV pads, 12 hard-sided pop-up camper sites, and 9 tent camping sites, with a new restroom, shower, and laundry facility. Recreation amenities include approximately 17 miles of hiking and biking trails, two 18-hole disc golf courses, multi-use courts, picnic pavilions, a playground, a splashpad, and beach access on Chickasabogue Creek, which connects to Mobile Bay. A boat ramp is planned for future construction. Located in Eight Mile within 15 minutes of downtown Mobile.
