A primitive campground at Lake Guntersville State Park offering boondock camping on a first-come, first-served basis with a 7-night maximum stay. Sites do not have electric or water hookups. Facilities include bathhouses and access to the Town Creek Fishing Center, which operates March 1 through October 31. The fishing center offers boat rentals (bass boats, pontoons, kayaks, canoes), fishing licenses, a convenience store, and non-ethanol gas on the water. The 16-mile Horse Trail begins at the Town Creek campground parking lot and winds along Town Creek and Lake Guntersville to Callahan's Cave.
