A US Army Corps of Engineers campground located on the shores of Walter F. George Lake (also known as Lake Eufaula) near Abbeville in southeast Alabama. The recently upgraded facility features 74 campsites, with 55 sites offering electric and water hookups. The campground operates seasonally from January through late September and includes modern amenities such as flush toilets, hot showers, laundry facilities, and a dump station. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. Recreation opportunities include fishing, swimming at the sandy beach area, and boating with easy lake access. The campground offers buddy sites that can accommodate groups of up to 16 people. The gate is closed nightly from 10 PM to 7 AM.
