U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campground on the northern shore of Demopolis Lake, the largest lake on the Black Warrior-Tombigbee Waterway. The facility features 42 campsites along the lakeshore with water hookups, offering 10,000 acres of water to explore. Amenities include electrical hookups, showers, laundry facilities, a state-of-the-art playground, picnic areas, and a group shelter accommodating up to 50 people. A boat ramp and hiking trail with scenic overlooks of McConnico Creek and the Black Warrior River are available. Popular fishing destination for bass, crappie, bream, and catfish. Located in a wooded area with pine and hardwood forest. Open seasonally March through October. Nine miles north of Demopolis near Forkland in Greene County.
