A year-round campground managed by the Bear Creek Development Authority, located on Cedar Creek Reservoir in the scenic Bear Creek Lakes system near Russellville. The facility provides 53 mostly shaded, level campsites with electric hookups, many situated on the waterfront. Two campsites are handicapped accessible with concrete pads. All sites include picnic tables, and water is available throughout the campground. Facilities include shower facilities and a dump station. The campground features a private swim area for campers inside the campground and a public swim area at the pavilion. Recreational opportunities include fishing and boating via the on-site boat launch. Pavilions at Slickrock can be reserved by calling the BCDA office at 256-332-4392, available from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM for $20, or all day (10 AM to 10 PM) for $40.
