A no-fee Forest Service campground located 22 miles south of Petersburg on the Mitkof Highway in Tongass National Forest. Access the campground by turning right from the ferry terminal parking lot and heading south on Mitkof Highway. The facility is on a minimal maintenance schedule due to budget constraints and visitors should bring waste containers. Restrooms are available but potable water is not provided. The campground offers primitive sites for single visitors with fishing opportunities in nearby rivers and streams. The facility remains open year-round for both day use and limited overnight camping.
