A medium-sized forested provincial recreation site overlooking Kinbasket Lake in the Columbia-Shuswap region near Golden. The campground features 14 campsites on gravel pads that can accommodate motor homes and tents, located at an elevation of approximately 2,493 feet (759 meters). Recreation opportunities include fishing, boating, and beach access on Kinbasket Lake. Operated by Recreation Sites and Trails BC (Ministry of Forests) offering free camping on a first-come, first-served basis with a maximum 14-day stay limit. Access is via Bush River Forest Road with the turnoff at 40 km marker. The site provides basic camping facilities in a scenic lakeside setting with forested surroundings.
