A 605-acre alpine state recreation site located at Mile 200.5 Richardson Highway, 67 miles south of Delta Junction. Access via 2-mile Fielding Lake Road off the highway. The facility offers 17 campsites at 2,973-foot elevation in the Alaska Range above tree line. Amenities include accessible vault toilets, boat launch, picnic sites, and a public-use cabin available by reservation. The campground has a 15-day camping limit and is ADA accessible. Popular for fishing natural populations of Arctic Grayling, lake trout, and burbot. Due to elevation, ice may remain on the lake until July. Note that garbage service is no longer available at the campground.
