A popular campground in Chugach National Forest located at Mile 24 of the Seward Highway near Moose Pass. The facility offers 91 wooded sites spread across multiple loops along the shores of Kenai Lake, providing access to both the lake and Trail River. The campground operates seasonally from mid-May through Labor Day at an elevation of 450 feet, surrounded by hemlock and spruce forests with views of snow-capped mountains. Anglers can fish for Dolly Varden, rainbow trout, and lake trout from the beach and nearby streams. Within a one-mile radius are five hiking trails including Falls Creek Trail, Crown Point Mine Road, Ptarmigan Creek Trail, and Vagt Lake Trail. The entrance road and loops are groomed for cross-country skiing during winter months when the campground is closed. Bear safety is essential in this area, and all food must be stored in vehicles or provided lockers.
