The campground is in a remote location, 65 km from Red Earth Creek on Secondary Road 686 (gravel), which is 170 km north of Slave Lake on Highway 88. Features basic amenities typical of backcountry camping including fire pits, with boat launch and picnic facilities available. This densely forested area provides outdoor recreation opportunities including fishing, hunting, and exploring the backcountry by quad or foot.
